Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD)
A team of specialists in Spain and Melbourne providing new building construction monitoring for the Commonwealth of Australia.
CSIRO Future Research
In 2011 we were awarded the contract by CSIRO for the design and building of their next generation hydrographic research vessel. We appointed Sembawang Shipyard in Singapore to undertake the building of the vessel, with us acting as project manager.
Port Hedland tugs
Managed the construction and delivery of six Robert Allan Z-Tech tugs for the Port Hedland operation.
Hay Point tugs
Managed the construction and delivery of two Damen 3212 tugs for the Hay Point operation.
Iron Monarch life extension
Managed the life extension docking of the specialist steel carrier vessel Iron Monarch, owned by BlueScope Steel. This was a $15million project that took 60 days to complete and was undertaken in Sembawang Shipyard in Singapore.
Ningaloo Vision life extension
Engaged by Apache Energy Ltd to manage the life extension docking of the FPSO Ningaloo Vision in 2013. A major project scheduled for 90 days and planned to be undertaken at Sembawang Shipyard in Singapore.
Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO)
TKA had a team in Singapore to manage the conversion of HMAS Success to comply with IMO standards, and is continuing to provide technical support to DMO in a variety of Projects.
