This July, the Lloyd’s List Global Awards judging panel had the difficult task of evaluating hundreds of nominations across a wide variety of marine industry categories. After hours of difficult deliberating, the panel settled on their finalists and overall winners.
We are incredibly pleased and proud to announce that Teekay has been shortlisted in the category of Technological Innovation!
The nod is being given to Teekay LNG’s revolutionary MEGI-powered newbuildings, which are the culmination of years of work by Teekay’s incredibly talented engineering and gas teams. Want to know more about these vessels? They’ve previously been featured on this very website. We also recently celebrated the announcement of long-term contracts for these next generation carriers with Cheniere.
The shortlisting is a major accomplishment, and we’re proud to be mentioned in the same breath as other greats in the marine industry.
