December 15, 2015 – Teekay ship-to-ship signed an agreement for the lease of a large facility located in Freeport, Texas. The new 2.5 acres on the water will enable Teekay ship-to-ship to have dockside facilities, an office of 15,000 sq ft and warehouse space. A facility of this size will also allow Teekay to store spares for vessels operation in the US Gulf. Teekay ship-to-ship currently operates in the US Gulf and around the world.
