Bringing the Teekay Family Closer Together!
Teekay Manila did it again! On May 14, the team held its annual Sportsfest at the Marikina Sports Park. Over 200 shore and sea staff came along with their families for a fun and competitive day. All players showcased their sportsmanship and physical endurance through different activities such as Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Track and Field, Swimming and the Fun Games.
As it is tradition, four teams were formed: Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality. All of them displayed their “never-say-die” attitude and #TeekaySpirit in all of the activities in store. However, only one team was crowned the champion – team Safety in yellow! It is safety first after all, right?
This Olympic-themed event has always been an important event Teekay Manila as it brings the Teekay family together. It is also a great opportunity not only to encourage physical activity but also some bonding time amongst seafarers, shore staff and family members.
