Doing Our Part to Leave Our Communities a Little Better
On Tuesday, May 30th, 35 staff from the Vancouver office gathered in partnership with the Nature Trust of BC to pitch in for a shoreline cleanup of the Boundary Bay tidal flats. The flats comprise a small portion of the ‘Pacific Flyway’, a major north-south flyway for migratory birds, extending from Alaska to South America.
Not even the weather could damped the #TeekaySpirit. Decked out in rain gear and gum boots, the team spent the morning picking up garbage and other items that had been left in the area or washed up on shore. The team worked together and removed an unprecedented amount of trash from the area. It goes to show that working together makes a big difference!
