OS Johan Ryan channeled his creativity into crafting a miniature ship model of Limerick Spirit.
What started as a passion project, not only brought the ship team closer, but also stirred a sense of joy and unity. The creative ship model was the centerpiece in the team’s celebrations, including their LTI-free milestone.
Everyone onboard was amazed by the attention to detail and celebrated Johan’s artistic talents that springs from his love for his family and the sea.
“It took me a month or so to finish because just like in any other work, I had encountered delays, discouragements and disappointments. Nonetheless, I continued since I had always believed that in life there will always be delays and rejections, but if you continue to strive and persevere you will be rewarded.
Also, every time I feel discouraged in finishing my art, I always remind myself about all the crew’s hard work and effort in maintaining an up to standard ship and living up to our SPIRT values.”

“The skills come pretty naturally to him and he is very meticulous in his planning. That shows in his artwork as well. If you see the model closely you will be amazed with all the details covered by him.”
– Additional Master Rahul Rai
“OS Ryan is really talented as you can see from the miniature model of the ship that he has made. He is a very lively person who always has a smile on his face whenever I meet him even after a hard day. This kind of positive attitude would keep the other crew also motivated.”
