Bringing awareness and doing our part to understand water conservation and sustainability in our communities.
More than 40 of our colleagues came together, along with their families and friends, and embarked on a kayak clean-up expedition on the Marina Reservoir in collaboration with Waterways Watch Society (WWS), a non-profit environmental organization committed to fostering appreciation and promoting conservation of the environment.
The team spent the morning cleaning up the reservoir while learning about the impacts of litter on our waters and wildlife. While some colleagues were on kayaks, our younger participants were able to participate in the comfort and safety of a powerboat with a trained guide.
This hands-on activity was an opportunity for our colleagues to connect with nature, appreciate our waters, and gain a sense of ownership in ensuring environmental sustainability.
